Fortunately for me, I had amazing parents who encouraged and nurtured my artistic endeavors all my life growing up—through childhood, high school, college, graduate school and into adulthood. I hold art degrees from the College of William & Mary and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
For the past 30 years I
have focused on pop, minimalist compositions. I reduce images to just what is
necessary to be recognizable in the mind’s eye. My paintings are a result of
continual looking, seeing and searching for the essence of that which is my
visual world.
